Dr David McKee is a globally recognised technology leader, Managing Partner at Counterpoint Technologies, and fractional CTO. He is also CTO in Residence at the University of Leeds supporting academics with their startup journeys. Until recently he was founder, CEO and CTO of University of Leeds spin-out Slingshot Simulations where he led them in building digital twin solutions for cities to support their net zero journey. David is a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow and has been recognised by Business Insider and TechNation. He leads international standardisation work on digital twins with the Digital Twin Consortium and is a guest lecturer at the universities of Oxford and Leeds. His most recent work on defining a best practice reference architecture for digital twins has already seen mass adoption across industry.
