Chen Xiaohong, Ph.D. from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, member of the 13th and 14th CPPCC National Committee. As a leading expert in Management Science and Engineering, Engineering Management and Data Intelligence in China, Academician Chen currently serves as the Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan University of Commerce, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, Honorary Dean of Business School of Central South University, a member of the Standing Committee of the Engineering Management Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a committee member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Convener of Management Science and Engineering Discipline Assessment Group of Degree Committee of State Council, Deputy Director of Management Department of Science and Technology Commission of Ministry of Education, Vice Chairman of Hunan Association for Science and Technology, Vice President of Hunan Academician Consultation and Exchange Promotion Association.

Academician Chen Xiaohong has long been committed to the research of decision theory and decision support system, digital economy and digital technology, ecological civilization, resource-economical and environment-friendly society, data intelligence and smart society. She has made important contributions to the innovation of management science and intelligent decision theory and method, the construction of two-oriented society, and the high-quality development of digital economy in China.

As the first accomplisher, she has obtained 19 national and ministerial (provincial) awards of scientific research such as second prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress, second prize for National Teaching Achievements (three prizes), Fudan Management Excellence Award and Guangzhao Science and Technology Award. Academician Chen held many major national key projects such as the National Science Foundation Basic Science Center Project, Major and Key Projects of NSFC, SKRD Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Major Consulting Projects of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. She has published over 400 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, elected on the “Global Highly Cited Scientists List” for many years, and has more than 70 national invention patents.
